Hindu Temple of Arizona is blessed with so many dedicated workers, donors, and volunteers that you will always find some projects going on whether be it construction related or any other type of projects.
We always look for more devotees who can contribute to accomplish the new and on-going projects. Your generous donations are always appreciated. Apart from this, the Administration is always open to the new ideas and recommendations for improving even more the look and quality of services being provided at this Temple. New Construction Project for Temple Expansion
We are thrilled to share the next exciting phase of our temple’s expansion—a new construction project that will include a kitchen, dining hall, restrooms, and a priest residence. The updated design resolves connectivity challenges between the existing temple building and the new structure, with valuable input from both architects and our devoted community.
The site plan has been completed and meets all city requirements, with 90% of the city approvals already secured. We are now awaiting final approval, which will be granted once the civil engineering design and survey are submitted.
Additionally, structural engineering work will be handled by a local engineer as we await final approvals. Once the required calculations and designs are submitted to the city, we’ll be ready to move forward.
The total budget for this project is $1.5 million, covering all expenses for the construction of the kitchen, dining hall, restrooms, and priest residence.
This project will significantly enhance our temple facilities, and we are deeply grateful for the continued support from our community. Please stay tuned for more updates as we move ahead with this exciting journey!
Murti Sthapna at HTA
The Board of Directors have approved October 19, 20th, & 21st 2007 as the Murti Sthapna dates in the Board Meeting held on May 6th, 2007.
we all know the Murti Sthapna at any Temple is not a small Project and it is especially true in one of the most popular Temple like HTA in the Valley of the sun. By virtue of its central and most sought out location, this Temple draws thousands of devotees every year not only from the US but also internationally. To bring this “Murti Sthapna” project to a successful completion, the HTA Board of Directors have formed a Task Force led by Kamal Kharbanda and co-chaired by Ashwani Bakshi and Sandhya Rao.
The Board would like to extend an open Invitation and encourage to all our membership to step forward and volunteer some time for this one of the noblest cause in the history of this Temple. As we all know, any organization including our Temple run smoothly when committed devotees help produce a continue stream of funds. This Temple is as much dependent upon you as you are on this Temple. The temple offers many ways to make the donation process as easy as possible. You may donate via Check, credit card, and or cash.
